Cast an Early Ballot

You don’t have to show ID to cast an early voting ballot.  Early voting a good idea if your mail is delivered to your home or your post office box is easily accessible, you have a long way to go to reach your polling place, or you are going to be out of town on Election Day.

If you aren’t able to get your early ballot in the mail for it to be delivered to the County Recorder by Election Day, you may drop it off at any polling place in your county.  All ballots must be received by the County Recorder by 7pm on Election Day.

Permanent Early Voting List

If you like Vote-By-Mail, you may want to consider being on the Permanent Early Voting List.  Being on the Permanent Early Voting List will ensure that you receive an early voting ballot for every election.

To request an early voting ballot or to request to be on the Permanent Early Voting List, contact your County Recorder’s office.

Early Voting Polling Locations

Your precinct may offer early voting polling locations.  Its another way to cast your ballot at your convenience and you don’t need to show ID!

Contact your County Recorder’s office for the early voting location nearest to you. Early voting locations close at 5:00 PM the Friday before the election.
