Special Programs and Initiatives

Member Tribes take action to establish programs addressing issues of importance to their communities. Tribes recognize the need to protect invaluable cultural resources and therefore established the ITCA Cultural Resources Working Group to advance tribal public policy concerns with key stakeholders. Similarly, increasing American Indian voter turnout in State and Federal elections has been a priority of ITCA since its inception and ITCA continues to build tribal voting capacity through outreach, education and resource development. Finally, successes in supporting American Indian youth has resulted in ITCA administering the Arizona Inter Tribal Trust Fund.
