Are you eligible for WIC?

WIC is for all kinds of families – families with married or single parents, LGBTQ families, those who are working or not working, military and foster families.

People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, gave birth less than six months ago and children under five may be eligible. WIC also helps those that had a pregnancy loss in the last six months.

Parents, grandparents, foster parents or other legal guardians may apply for WIC for their child under five years old.

WIC has different requirements than SNAP (Food Stamps) so even if you don’t qualify for SNAP, you may still qualify for WIC. You can participate in SNAP or TANF and WIC at the same time.

You may be eligible if you meet the income requirements below based on the number of people living in your home. If you are on SNAP or TANF, you are automatically income eligible for WIC.
