Emergency Preparedness Specialist

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, the Emergency Preparedness Specialist performs technical research, analysis and program development, and implementation related to public safety, emergency preparedness, and emergency management in Indian Country planning. This includes: developing, coordinating, facilitating, and instructing on issues related to emergency management principles, hazards analysis, hazard mitigation, table-top exercises, utilizing best practices, and ensuring the safety and welfare of tribal communities through public safety information sharing and training. Position requires monthly travel. Timely and regular attendance to work and work-related events is an essential function of this position.


Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): Program Coordinator

Under the direction of the WIC Director, the Program Coordinator effectively manages the program integrity, certification, civil rights and monitoring areas of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and takes the lead or assists on special projects and activities. Management activities include interpreting, developing, training and monitoring on policies and procedures; writing documents and reports; creating tools and resources; and investigating and taking action on client fraud and program abuse. Timely attendance to work and work-related events is an essential function of this position.


Tribal Air Quality Program Environmental Specialist

The Environmental Specialist performs complex technical research, analysis on Clean Air Act initiatives, policies, and effectively communicates (e.g., briefings and/or issue papers) the information to tribal programs. Position requires monthly travel. Timely and regular attendance to work and work-related events is an essential function of this position.


TWD Exam Development Projects Manager

Under the supervision of the ITCA Tribal Water Department Director, the Exam Development Projects Manager will be responsible for managing the Federal Baseline Regulatory (FedReg) Exam Module Development Project and the Tribal Utility Management Certification Exam Update Project. The project management will include: budget and contract management; coordinating, scheduling, and arranging numerous committee meetings and webinars; developing project messaging to stakeholders; and managing and maintaining confidential and proprietary information. The Project Manager will engage and collaborate with tribal, federal, state, and non-profit entities throughout the implementation of these projects. Position requires monthly travel. Timely and regular attendance to work and events is an essential function of this project.
